181. Human Greed And Resourceful Ecosystem ……….

(Image: Pilot Whales brutally slaughtered in Faroe Islands, situated between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, approximately halfway between Scotland and Iceland)

In our ecosystem every animal and plant plays an important part but we humans have only tried to destroy this system. We humans are the culprits for the changes in the ecosystem which has brought in devastating results. To fill his plates with the exotic dishes man has destroyed the marine life and its coral reef creating an imbalance in the natural food chain.

One may ask will it affect us directly???

The question to be asked is how will mankind ever think of surviving by destroying every natural thing to satisfy his greed???

Only time will be able to answer this million dollar question. We humans are a curse to ecosystem having virtually affecting and transforming it according to the need and greed. Mankind is like cancer and virus as far as the planet Earth is concerned. They have literally lost the status of being in this ecosystem, if every animal or plant offers something for the ecosystem; we humans are just destroying it without second thought. So much so we are the worst thing to happen to planet Earth.

Our tentacles have not stopped at destroying this planet alone we have started to pollute the space too. Yes, technology has to improve but not at the cost of ecosystem, countries can let go their ego and start working collectively to improve technology, after all we, the humans are the beneficiaries. The situation is bad but it can turn worst and in future it may make us feel that if the entire human race all dropped dead and vanished from this planet all the rest of the life on this planet would be better off. The end result is that greed for more by humans has taken over. We only care about surviving and enjoying this planet, but how can we if we are destroying just about everything for our pleasure???

There will be a time when there would be nothing left to eat, nothing to look at and enjoy and soon we will all be living in filth. That is when we will realize that it is too late to go back and change things, and it is too late to start caring about nature also. We will be left wondering how our next generations would be affected by the greedy acts we had indulged to enjoy without the concern of future. Agreed that if one person thinks about conserving ecosystem there can’t be a big change, but if one person starts to care for nature it is enough change and the rest will follow. There is no fault in using the resources that nature has given us but at the same time we have to think of the other living things safety tooo, Is'nt it???

We could do a bit by just not littering this planet or by avoiding using plastic. We are very glad enough when we wake up in the morning, to see what our beautiful planet Earth has to offer us. Because maybe there won’t be a next time if we don’t think about conserving ecosystem.

Deforestation resulted in landslides and over flow of rivers. There are no trees to hold on to the water and soil. The disater we are seeing is man made one. There is no point in the celebrities advocating to donate for the disaster. It would have been better if they had educated about conserving nature in the first place.

Never the late...... let us respect nature.
